Progression Athletics International
"Sports are a universal language no matter your age, gender, or ethnicity. They are a high-impact, low-cost tool that can affect countless lives and inspire change in all who participate.
80% death row population were in the foster system.
74% of the U.S. prison system were in the foster system.
50% of foster youth incarcerated within 2 years of “age out”.
Today, millions of children around the world have the privilege to play recreational sports. Progression Athletics International was created with a mission to bring those same opportunities to the even greater number of underprivileged youth who do not have the same opportunity.
Since 2011, we have impacted over 13,000 youth in six countries around the world. One of the main programs we offer are sports clinics both domestically and internationally. At these events we provide training, T-shirts, sports bags, wristbands, and trophies to those who demonstrate positive behavior.
Many of the children PAI serves do not have parents, have been abused or neglected and are looking for love and PAI provides this through the power of sport. Athletics has the unique power to attract, mobilize, and inspire. In order for the sport to be a success, multiple participants have to share the same vision and goal. Sports help teach life values such as respect for the opponent, competition, acceptance of binding rules, teamwork and fairness.
This is the platform Progression Athletics International provides to the youth we serve!"
